Dr. Melissa Burruezo
Dr. Burruezo is a proud mother of a son born on Thanksgiving day in 2008 and a daughter born in September 2011. When she is not busy practicing dentistry or being a mommy, she likes to engage in outdoor activities like white water rafting, rock climbing, nature hikes, and long walks. When she is not outdoors, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), dental caries (cavities) is an epidemic in the United States; and although it is largely preventable, it remains the most common chronic disease of children aged 5 to 17 years -- 4 times more common than asthma.
